USQ Springfield now has a weekly Hacky Hour

QCIF's USQ-based eResearch Analyst Dr Francis Gacenga has changed the Springfield Campus Hacky Hour from monthly to weekly.

The Springfield Hacky Hour is held on Tuesdays, 2pm–3pm, at B153, the USQ Library Community Space. Researchers are welcome to join in person (it’s free) or online.
The Toowoomba Hacky Hour, held weekly on Wednesdays, 2pm–3pm, at the Refectory (next to the blackboard), also now allows researchers to join it online.
Dr Gacenga decided to change the USQ Springfield Hacky Hour from monthly to weekly to increase access opportunities and enhance efforts to build strong research communities that share good research practices.
At Hacky Hour, research support and IT experts—such as Dr Gacenga and other volunteers—help researchers (staff and RHD students) with their research-related IT queries, such as high-performance computing, coding (e.g. R and Python), data storage, data management, virtual machines and more.
