Congratulations to University of Melbourne humanities researcher Dr Tyne Daile Sumner who won our door prize at last month’s eResearch Australasia conference.
In our QCIF booth guessing game of "What's the total length of all the cables in the box?", Dr Sumner was the closest with her answer of 9200cm (actual answer was 9283cm).
In this instance, the “wisdom of the crowd” was inaccurate: The average answer of the 57 entries was close to 124,545cm.
Dr Sumner has won a gift pack from boutique Brisbane chocolatiers New Farm Confectionery.
QCIF thanks all those who visited the QCIF booth at eResAU2019 from 21–24 October at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
